Self Absorbed is a 3D puzzle and adventure game about social isolation, unexpected companionship and of course bubbles Inspired by the works of Fumito Ueda this game takes a more intrinsic approach to story telling and companionship through the innovative control scheme with players controlling two characters at once via the opposing controller joysticks

For Global Game Jam 2025 I teamed up with 4 friends, our team was made up of 2 designers, 2 programmers and 1 artist. The theme for this game jam was "bubbles" So we decided to go a bit more outside of the box by creating a game about social bubbles and being excluded and alone. Over the weekend I worked on all aspects of design from player design, to level design, to puzzle design, to blocking out in engine.
Our team won the award for “the most creative use of the theme” within our university’s event.
